Purpose:

Responsible for growing Pampered Chef’s U.S. business by building the active consultant base, increasing productivity, and developing leaders. She/he will have will have direct responsibility for our field development managers, leadership development, and training and field programs. The National Field Development Director will ensure these areas align to overall consultant journey and energy map to support the achievement of our field goals. This role will work closely with our field leaders and will be responsible for strengthening the home office and field trust / partnership and exemplifying the values and purpose of Pampered Chef every day.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of an integrated field training and program strategy to drive recruiting, booking, selling, and leadership development. Key training and program focus areas include: product / seasonal training, foundational skills, journey based training (e.g. new consultant or director training), and special programs.
• Ensure training and programs follow best practices for instructional design and delivery to drive key KPIs. This includes the assessing and implementing (if required) technology solutions to support field success (e.g. LMS)
• Lead delivery of all field development strategies across consultant segments and career plan levels with the goals of expanding the consultant base and growing consultant LTV. This includes developing the programs, processes, and tools required for success
• Work with field development managers to determine proper focus areas, goals, and programs to achieve success. Measure field development results and coach to improve performance
• Acts as the advocate for consultants internally and the voice of the company to the field in partnership with the CEO and Chief Field Officer
• Provides effective leadership, direction and coaching to build an impactful and high performing team.  Motivates, develops and directs team, while encouraging and building mutual trust, respect and teamwork across departments and the organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with deep experience in sales strategy and leadership.
• Experience in Direct Sales, Party Plan and/or Network Marketing is required.
