New Business Executive

PURPOSE OF POSITION

As part of our aggressive expansion plans for 2019 we are looking to add to our sales team. A sales specialist here is a confident, articulate business communicator and has exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. This individual will be mostly working with incoming retailers inquiring about our services and will consult with them on how to use our platform in the most effective way. However, this role will also include outbound sales where you will be identifying and engaging new prospects and encouraging them to use our platform.
KEY TASKS
- Securing a high volume of new business through consultative selling
- Field incoming calls and email inquiries, with the aim of securing this business
- Develop personalized cadence to stay in touch with long-term opportunities
- Determine most effective sales strategy for varying levels of prospects
- Create and send out proposals
- Identify high-value opportunities
- Proactively prospect for potential brands
- Periodically travel to conferences and/or client offices
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with the internet and social media
- Stellar interpersonal skills
- High level of resilience
- Strong negotiation skills
