Job Description
- Prospecting new business by developing relationships with key decision-makers, understand and respond to customer needs, track and report on account activity
- Finding and developing new markets and determining the net need
- Support Motorola’s sales activities in the assigned territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for products and services
- Support the territory leaders in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned territory
- Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work, and track sales activities with new end-users using lead and project tracking software databases
- Contribute to qualifying new business for our Integrators and VARs (Value Added Resellers) which is managed by a team of Sales Managers
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience at security technology manufacturer or an installer/integrator and selling IP network based security solutions
- Strong awareness of IP network design and video applications
- Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
- Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required
- Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting
- Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets
- Exceptional presentation skills required
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Ideally resides in Illinois or Michigan
