Position Overview:

The RPA Solutions Architect will help to define the vision and technical strategy for Robotic Process Automation at Paylocity. This role will work in an interdisciplinary manner with other teams to build and implement an RPA platform, as well as assist with designing automation that will leverage the platform. This role will drive improvements in our RPA strategy and translate that strategy into executable deliverables that continue to innovate. Beyond this, the RPA Solutions Architect will work with a variety of roles across the company, including the executive level.

Reports To: Director, Operations Process Automation 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize experience and requirements to help select and implement an appropriate RPA solution
  • Manage full life cycle RPA implementations (process selection, design, build, harden, deploy, scale, and support)
  • Lead architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment
  • Develop RPA client architecture and solutions focusing on scalability and extensibility
  • Work with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and RPA Developers to develop high-level project plans for RPA projects
  • Use experiences with past and current technology problems and solutions to drive best practices around automation workflows, design, quality, and performance
  • Partners with IT to ensure that all standards are met
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge across our teams
  • Capture and share best practices across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience architecting RPA solutions required.
  • Must have 5 years of relevant technology and/or analytics experience. (priority given to RPA specific experience)
  • Must have 3 years of process design and process improvement experience.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in programming.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise with at least 3 full life cycle analytics or systems integration engagements across strategy, design, and implementation preferred.

  • Self-Motivated – you like to work hard, play hard.
  • Adaptable – quick feet! You can shift priorities if needed.
  • Highly Organized – detail-oriented is your thing!
  • MS Office applications - are no sweat when it comes to your skillset
