The Sales Analyst manages forecasting and reporting functions essential to sales force productivity. These include monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting, ad hoc and planned reporting, Salesforce data management, quota input and management, and sales training. Responsible for analyzing the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and analyzes sales forecasts
  • Monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s data
  • Responsible for the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization
  • Recommends and acts on revisions to existing reports and technology
  • Reinforces sales team utilization of Salesforce and other key systems of record
  • Collaborates with sales operations team members
  • Partners with Marketing, Accounting and Finance
  • Leads or coordinates sales training as needed
  • Supports sales force quotas and incentive programs as needed
  • Areas for which this role would be likely accountable:

  • Accurate and on-time forecasting and reporting essential for sales organization
  • Implementation of sales organization quotas and performance objectives
  • Support of KPIs, major initiatives, and ARR goals
  • Support of technology, support, and training resources impacting the sales organization
  • Contract support (as needed)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year working in B2B sales operations roles
  • Minimum of 1 year working in a customized Salesforce environment
  • Minimum of 1 year building and analyzing sales forecasts, building data or trend modeling
  • Analytical drive
  • Proven ability to develop effective sales reporting
  • Strong communication skills
  • Deep work ethic
  • Strong sense of ownership and dedication to quality in work 
  • Collaborative by nature

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a B2B software environment
  • Experience working with channel and direct sales teams
  • Experience working with remote sales teams
