Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant will provide administrative and related support to the sales team and will liaise between sales directors (direct sellers), sales engineering and prospective customers. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all sales documents, proposals and agreements are properly completed and sent to prospective customers on a timely basis. This includes the scheduling of site surveys by technicians with hotels, coordination of site survey and related materials internally, proposal creation and follow-up. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but are not limited to:

  • Organize sales presentations  
  • Interface and liaise between sales directors and sales engineering
  • Schedule and coordinate site surveys with hotels to support the proposal process
  • Support sales proposal creation and timely delivery to customers, as well as agreement creation and delivery / follow-up
  • Update customer records in the company database as required
  • Contact customers / prospects to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge interest in advancing to close
  • Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time
  • Provide general admin support to sales directors

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred)
  • 2+ years’ sales support experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Good communication skills, ability to interact with customers
  • Generally tech savvy
