Sales Development Representative
Paro is seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Outbound sales team and learn consultative sales from the best. While years of sales experience is not necessary, a passion to thrive in a high growth start up is a hard requirement. The role is directly responsible for prospecting new clients through a defined, outbound channel prospecting process. From the outset, you will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and qualifying target accounts. As you show success in this role, your responsibilities will expand to encompass the full sales cycle, from establishing initial contact to closing deals. Who You Are
- Naturally optimistic and enthusiastic

- Demonstrate a consistent skill to convert cold prospects into qualified accounts while meeting pre-determined meeting quotas
- Desire to close full-cycle business on an accelerated promotion timeline
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial ambition to creatively get the job done
- Strong communicator (both verbal and written)
- Quick Learner - able to quickly learn multiple software platforms, including Salesforce and Outreach.io (no prior experience necessary)
- Experienced with opportunity qualification, call control, and time management
- Solution-driven and excel at solving problems, particularly in team settings
- Excited to learn, grow and succeed in sales
- Have at least 1 year of sales experience, ideally in a B2B and/or services-oriented business (not required if you're a hungry undergrad looking to break into the startup space)

What You’ll Do
- Develop deep and genuine business relationships via email campaigns, social media interactions and phone conversations
- Overcome objections of prospective customers by delivering value propositions rooted in Paro’s service offering(s) – ‘No’ is simply a detour, not a dead end
- Track and update CRM throughout sales cycle
- Actively manage call schedule to meet qualified lead goals in a time-efficient manner
- Be a critical member of the outbound team by helping to define and shape our customer acquisition strategy
- Interact and network with entrepreneurs/business owners on a daily basis
- As you are successful in the SDR role, you will advance your career to an Account Executive role, closing new customer accounts using a consultative sales approach
- You could also grow into a position within another department

- Conduct experiments to identify opportunities to improve prospect engagement, response rates, and conversion
- Have opportunity to develop and test your own ideal client profile hypotheses
