Sales Development Representative (SDR)
As one of Chicago’s top paid social agencies, and with growth as our main mission, Matchnode is looking to add a major player to our team!
The SDR is responsible for helping grow the business through strategic, persistent and adaptive sales tactics. This individual is responsible for managing the top of the funnel in our sales process. Targeting the right prospects, building genuine relationships and scheduling qualified sales meetings (both in-person and virtually).
You will be supported by the Co-Founders who currently leads sales and will help build out the sales processes and team. They will also provide and ideate marketing plans, tools and budget to help drive new leads. For the right burgeoning sales leader, the position can represent a huge win-win for both you and for Matchnode.

ABOUT YOU
You are well versed in building/managing a pipeline through a mix of phone calls, emails, on-site visits to clients and strategic marketing efforts
You are personable, professional and genuine! You get prospective clients excited about our service through your excitement about our service. You have an entrepreneurial ambition! You run your own desk as an adaptive, creative and resilient problem solver
You are detail-oriented and highly skilled in managing a clean pipeline
You are strategic and patient - you understand Rome wasn’t built in a day, but you also know it took a well curated plan and clean execution
Building meaningful relationships is your true passion and you have 1-3 years of sales experience
Some key traits and competencies we’ll look for in you:
- Empathy and relationship building
- Business acumen around strategic digital marketing including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram
- Accountability: the discipline to focus on the inputs that are leading indicators of key outcomes
- High energy and social boldness
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Stay organized and persistent with outreach to prospective clients
Meet with prospects to educate them on our service/technology, identify areas that we can be of support and sign them up for recurring service(s)
Follow-up and follow-through with prospective clients in a timely manner
Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly goals
Work with the Operations and Account Management team to fulfill various products and services and ensure we are exceeding client’s expectations
Work with Co-Founders for ongoing sales training and development
Some key outcomes we will measure to assure that we stay on track together
- Define, forecast, and reach goals on prospecting “inputs"
- 2 qualified sales meetings per week by month 2
- Win 6 new clients in the first 12 months
