About the Role

G2 Crowd is seeking a Sales Engineer who can provide the Sales and Relationship Management teams with pre-signature technical support during the sales process. This person will be an expert on the branding, content, research, API, and Salesforce Connector solutions offered by G2 Crowd for marketing and sales teams in the software and service industries. This person will help to make recommendations based on their technical knowledge.

The Sales Engineer would will also own internal demo creation and upkeep on applicable solutions, as well as content (e.g. instructional slides and videos) to properly enable to sales org from a technical angle.

Responsibilities

  • Learn G2 Crowd’s products at the deepest technical levels and be able to identify how it can align with the vendors’ needs
  • Work alongside the Sales and Relationship Management teams to develop internal instructional documentation, including content for prospects
  • Collaborate with colleagues cross-functionally to support the sales process
  • Research and become a knowledge expert in industry trends and information

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in a sales engineering or customer success/support role
  • 2 years Salesforce administrative experience
  • Experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience in the software, technology, or digital marketing industry
  • The ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
