Sales Engineer

What you’ll bring:
· Minimum of eight years of sales, sales engineering, solution engineering, business development, or strategy development experience in a B2B, large/strategic customer segment.
· Prior experience supporting the sale of highly customizable, technical and complex solutions/products.
· Consultative skills in order to understand the technical needs of the client and to determine any problems or unmet needs the client may face.
· Proven project management skills.
· Four year college degree.
· Ability to accommodate extensive travel.

· Strong presentation skills demonstrating persuasiveness along with an adaptation to communication based on interactions or reactions to others.
· Ability to communicate professionally in written responses with extreme detail to customer requirements in support of solution development and delivery.
· An organized individual with the presence of mind to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
· An aptitude for solving complex problems.
· An ability to work effectively and navigate within the TransUnion matrix.
Impact you’ll make:
· Expectations in the first 90 days, you will become accountable for the creation of client facing presentations, providing direction on products and services in order to assist clients in achieving their goals. You will respond to technical questions and help sales teams create sales strategies.
· Beyond 90 days, you will have the unique ability to make highly technical solutions easily understandable and ensure solutions fulfill client needs. You will have the subject matter expertise to communicate directly with the client the value proposition of the solution. In addition, you will be able to successfully manage large, complex projects that involve multiple teams within TransUnion.
· The person in this role is responsible for pre-sale insights in the form of professional presentations with an industry or sub-vertical point of view.
