Would you like to be a pioneer selling into the cannabis marketing space? LEAF has built a cannabis marketing platform that allows legal cannabis brands to educate and build dynamic relationships with cannabis dispensaries and influencers.  We’re on the hunt for a of Sales Executive who is eager to expand their career while also helping to build a fast-growing company in a burgeoning industry.

This role is a true hunter position focused on seeking out new business opportunities through outreach, qualifying existing leads, and scheduling meetings to close new business. We are a rapidly growing company, so there is significant growth opportunity for high performers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can gain sales experience interacting with prospects, this opportunity is for you.

Your work will include mapping out the cannabis brand ecosystem, setting up meetings with brand marketing teams and closing business to drive the company’s revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for meeting sales goals as set by the CEO and have an opportunity to build a sales organization as the company grows.

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 5+ years' experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving quota
  • Knowledge of the legal cannabis brand industry
  • Highly motivated and aggressive, but possessed of good teamwork skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and writing skills
  • Energized and excited by working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Focused, confident, and self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer meetings

The successful candidate will lead the following functions:

  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists
  • Build and maintain pipeline of prospective customers
  • Report pipeline to CEO for accurate forecasting
  • Achieve performance metrics and monthly/quarterly quotas set by CEO
  • Lead cold outreach efforts (e.g. calling, emails, LinkedIn messaging, etc.)
  • Build a great first impression with our prospects and customers
  • Respond to, qualify, and convert inbound leads into happy, paying customers
