We’re looking for a Sales Manager, Account Management
As our Growth Sales Manager, you will lead a team of 4 (and growing) Account Managers who are responsible for Built In customers ranging from 200-1,000 employees. Additionally, you will get to lead this team through the largest growth Built In has experienced as we grow from selling to employers who are looking to hire in our 8 main markets to any hiring needs employees have nationwide. Through this growth, we are looking for a sales leader who thrives in account mapping and deal prioritization while also enjoys rolling up their sleeves and joining customer calls as well.
How you’ll contribute
- Manage a team of 4 (and growing) Growth Account Managers
- Responsible for meeting and ideally exceeding quarterly revenue targets (Net Revenue Retention and Retention are key metrics for AM organization)
- Recruit, train, develop and promote a results oriented AM team with a focus on increasing sales and market share through existing Built In customers
- Define and instill key metrics that drive success across the renewal process
- Track and communicate team metrics and forecast to leadership on a regular basis
- Provide real-time and specific feedback to reps in order to drive results and development
- Ability to identify key themes across AM and customer-base and effectively communicate them to leadership and to cross-functional teams in order to drive change and revenue needs.
- Build strong ties with various internal teams such as Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, New Business Sales, Product Management, and Finance, to ensure certain cross functional needs are being met.
- Develop training plans for continuous development of team (Sales tactics, professional development, product trainings and human development plans)
- Embody company culture and contribute to fostering an environment that excites and inspires the sales team
What you need
- 3+ years of experience managing a revenue / quota driven organization (Preferably but not limited to Renewals)
- 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, sales roles
- Experience managing teams overseeing customer engagements between 1-3 years
- Demonstrated ability to train, develop, motivate and retain top talent
- Ability to operate heavily in a customer-facing environment
