We have an immediate opening for a hybrid Sales Manager with a proven track record of success to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role serves as a critical member of the sales team, and is responsible for coaching and empowering your team to proactively prospect, qualify, and build sales pipeline. This role requires experience building and managing highly successful and talented remote software sales teams. This is a results-driven position that requires you to enable the team to win business and navigate complex organizations and negotiations.

What You'll Do

  • Coach and empower your team to proactively prospect, qualify, and build sales pipeline
  • Enable the team to win business and navigate complex organizations and negotiations
  • Provide senior support for deals to execute team goals as needed
  • Onboard and ramp new Account Executives and accelerate their ability to be productive
  • Accurately forecast and represent your business to the executive team
  • Develop and execute initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders in the wider Instawork org, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Engineering
  • Have a strong understanding of the Instawork platform to provide guidance on prospects, value propositions, and strategy
  • Enhance and create adoption for Instawork’s sales playbook within your team
  • Develop and enable the next generation of sales leaders
  • Share learnings and best practices across the entire company
  • Scale an organization sustainably

Who You Are

  • 2+ years experience building and managing highly successful and talented remote software sales teams
  • 5+ years experience of quota-exceeding experience selling mid-enterprise deals
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholder deal cycles
  • A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Demonstrated success with managing an outbound sales team in all areas of the sales cycle
  • Passionate about coaching, mentorship and team management
  • Motivated by helping people grow with a desire to continually refine their own professional skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and establish credibility
  • Great candidates are self-aware and have high emotional intelligence
  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Instawork mission, values and product
  • Passionate about growing your career in a high growth start up that is disrupting the gig economy
