About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support our sister company Above Lending’s ambitious growth. You will provide strategic and innovative solutions to increase efficiency within a sales environment. You will work daily with a team of sales representatives (10-25) to monitor their success, mentor, and motivate.
At Above Lending, Inc. we believe in helping consumers get out of debt. We are both a lender and loan broker. As a lender, Above Lending makes unsecured debt consolidation loans to eligible consumers. As a loan broker, Above Lending only matches you with lending partners that may extend a loan to you.
What You'll Do
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the success of their team. They will evaluate and enforce daily: Product Expectations, Behavioral Expectations, Lead Management, Attendance, Follow Up and Follow Through. The Sales Manager will also partake in Team Huddles, Live Call Monitoring, Escalation Calls, and ongoing training. Sales Managers will be assisting with acclimating new hires to the sales environment in a remote setting and will be responsible for their success.
Required Experience
- Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Proven history of successfully motivating a team to accomplish departmental and organizational goals
- Financial Literacy with regards to the Debt Settlement industry (credit reporting, budgets, debt to income ration) and Consumer Lending industry (specifically debt consolidation lending)
- Knowledge of: Loans, Debt Management, Debt Resolution
- 5+ years experience tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
- 3+ years experience with maximizing Sales Production (Quotas, Spiffs)
- Ability to take calls and assist with and assist with client escalations
- Accountability Management; Hiring, terminations, Coaching, Training, Attendance Tracking
- Prior management experience running a team of 15+
- Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives.
