We are looking for a Sales Manager for UrbanStat who will help us become a major player in the risk analytics industry in North America. Directly working with the co-­founders, your ultimate goal will be to win mid to large size deals in the P&C insurance industry.


Responsibilities / Desired Skills

  • Close deals with mid to large size insurance companies
  • Establish and cultivate long-term relationship with all clients to maximize future opportunities
  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads through selective cold calling, social media marketing, attending industry events, and providing product demos
  • Work with clients to understand the fundamental challenges of their business
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify new opportunities
  • Manage the sales process along with the co-founders


About You

  • Demonstrated experience (minimum of 5 years) at selling software to large enterprises
  • Comfort with communicating benefits of a highly-complicated technology product to insurance companies
  • Experience identifying champions and key decision-makers in different departments within the client's organization to successfully navigate our sales process

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000-110,000 / year in base salary
  • $25,000 bonus on quota, $55,000 bonus if you double your quota
  • 8-20% in commissions
  • 0.75-2% in stock options
  • Low deductible health insurance plan (PPO) fully paid for the employee
  • 15 days PTO and 1 additional day PTO on your birthday
  • Paid holidays (10 days)
