As our Sales Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing sales efficiency and effectiveness through various sales enablement tools, reporting, processes, and analysis. You will need to resolve and streamline operational challenges that are slowing down the Partner sales team. Finding solutions to these issues can be challenging, often requiring innovative thinking and careful consideration before outlining a plan. Ideal candidates will possess a shown ability to gather business requirements and develop reporting and customize sales tools to support the needs of the sales team. Communication, as well as analytical expertise, will be critical to this person's success

Purpose of Position:

The Sales Operations Analyst will be required to perform analysis, monitor critical KPIs, present findings, and execute against strategic projects. This individual will report to the SVP, Sales & Partnerships, and be responsible for working directly with the Partner Marketing Sales team to ensure sales managers and leaders have clear insight into performance vs. sales targets, channel, program, and campaign level analytics, and custom ad hoc reporting. This individual will work cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, BI, HR, Operations, and Customer Service.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build reporting tools/dashboards for the Partner Sales team that will enable live reporting as well as daily/weekly/quarterly reporting for metrics including account and campaign-level performance
  • Implement, maintain, and train the Partner sales team on Salesforce.com customized to the needs and workflow of the sales team
  • Design, implement and support sales analytics/reporting related to sales rep performance to targets and incentive plans
  • Manage and facilitate sales target setting process in conjunction with Finance, Sales leaders, and HR
  • Gather requirements from the sales team to design/create custom sales reports to meet sales management business objectives
  • Work with Business Development team to manage pipeline reporting and overall lead management
  • Build reporting tools/dashboards for the sales team that will enable live reporting as well as daily/weekly/quarterly reporting for metrics including account and campaign-level performance
  • Perform ad hoc data requests for the sales team as needed
  • Train the sales team on crucial reporting and sales enablement tools
  • Work with Finance, and Payroll on the sales incentive plan calculations to ensure accurate and prompt payments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in business operations and analytical functions
  • BA/BS is required - preferably in Operations, Business, Economics, or similar
  • Knowledge and fluency of advanced Excel, SQL, Salesforce.com, Cognos, Business Objects, and Omniture
  • Track record of creative problem solving, data manipulation and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and across teams
  • Demonstrated record of success in executing vital operational processes
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Prior experience supporting a sales team is preferred
