The Sales Operations Manager will perform all assigned functions in sales operations pertaining to Sales staff onboarding and development, sales process and procedure, and sales enablement with the goal of shortening the time to productivity for new account executives, grooming internal talent for promotion into an Account Executive role, improving the effectiveness of existing sales team members, and ensuring scalability through operational excellence.

The successful candidate will possess keen business acumen with strong communication skills and a proven track record of coaching sales teams to higher performance.

Expected Results:

  • Document, enhance, and maintain the sales onboarding training
  • Ensure development and delivery of ongoing training for the sales team
  • Provide coaching and feedback to members of the sales team on sales skills and Litera Microsystems sales processes
  • Coordinate with Solutions Engineering and Product on enhancing and updating sales team product knowledge
  • Maintain and continuously enhance the Sales Playbook
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a Procedural Manual for sales operations
  • Act as a business partner with Marketing on sales enablement
  • Assist in preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Act as a business partner with Human Resources on all aspects of Sales team onboarding and training
  • Provide local oversight for Sales team members located in the Chicago office, as needed
  • Work extended hours during end of quarters

Skills & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • At least one year of sales management and/or coordination
  • Sales training and/or curriculum development experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, including development of reports and dashboards, a plus
  • Familiarity with Steelbrick a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong work ethic, with an emphasis on contribution, teamwork, and positive demeanor
