Department OverviewThis role is a high-value-add, highly visible business partner to the NA Channel Team. They will work directly with Sales VPs, Finance, IT and Sales Operations Organizations within the North America Sales Operations Team of Motorola Solutions.
This will be a junior sales operations analyst who will work closely with all members of the channel organization and have much room for growth within the NA Sales Operations Team. In this role, responsibilities will include overseeing the forecasting, compensation, reporting and daily sales operations of the channel sales organizations and ensure they are following the NA Sales Ops processes. Work to continually set up process improvements for the sales teams to include Salesforce Adoption, Training, Orders/Revenue forecasting , Sales analytics and Reporting. They will also help to drive and integrate various field automation initiatives throughout the various businesses while working closely with the Americas Operations leaders and the respective Regional Sales VPs and Directors.
The successful candidate will demonstrate true leadership ability and have strong cross-functional and team-building skills with an ability to manage effectively up, down and across an organization. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with the various constituencies. Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are also desired along with strong time management, organizational and analytical skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Bachelors Degree is desired
1+ years experience in sales, sales support or analyst
Exceptional Excel skills and Tableau knowledge is desired
Track record in driving change and removing hurdles in fast growth organizations by working cross functionally with Sales, Finance, Services and IT
High level of analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
Participate and provide data for various operational reviews for Sales management and Finance throughout the year
Identify business gaps, challenges and possible solutions/actionable recommendations for your business
Enable both sales and customer service to properly leverage current reporting to ensure consistency, accuracy and organizational efficiencies
Provide high level analysis on changes in revenue/orders to Sales and Finance Teams
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to execute on multiple tasks and projects
Results-driven achiever with exemplary analytical and organizational skills and a passion for details
1+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Support or Analyst
