Position Overview
The Corporate Trainer position is a highly visible role at Echo, and will be primarily responsible for delivering our New Hire & Inside Sales Training Programs in an effort to grow a successful sales force. This role will manage the facilitation process and classroom environment, to ensure quality, consistency, and achievement of learning objectives. The Corporate Trainer will directly report to the Sales Development Manager within the Talent Optimization Department.
Essential Job Functions
Main Responsibilities
Facilitate New Hire & Inside Sales Training Program (5-30 employees) on a monthly basis on-site and/or remotely
New Hire & Inside Sales Training Program includes:
Transportation 101
Inside Sales Training Program
Work with Instructional Design team to understand content and purpose of training activities
Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify/improve existing programs
Facilitate continuous training initiatives as indented by business stakeholders on-site and/or remotely
Management and delivery of follow-up training sessions
If needed, travel to off-site locations to facilitate training initiatives
Maintaining a consistent program delivery method as outlined in the Facilitator Handbook
Keep up-to-date with new industry standards and market shifts
Additional Responsibilities
Provide internal client support by responding to employee / agent questions and issues
Help create and implement quality controls to enhance the learning experience
Ad-hoc Talent Optimization projects, as needed
Position Requirements
1+ year(s) tenure at Echo with Inside Sales experience
3-5 years of previous work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Solid understanding of business processes
Ability to travel (Up to 30-50% travel may be required)
Ability to captivate an audience and earn respect
Proven time management skills
Ability to adapt to changing environments and situations
Proficiency in all Echo systems (Optimizer, EchoIQ, EchoTrak, EchoCentral)
Working knowledge of Echo Sales and Operations processes
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Desired Qualities
Previous training experience is a plus

This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
