Sales Trainer

As the Sales Trainer, your top priority will be giving new sales associates the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to be effective in their role. You will accomplish this by working closely with our salespeople and sales managers to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase productivity. You will be responsible to identify any issues with training methods and make suggestions for improvements as needed. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our sales teams and ensure they have the skills to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and then delivering all Revenue team related training content.
- Facilitating and managing our Sales new hire onboarding program; constantly iterating to improve likelihood of new hire ramp performance.
- Ensure proper delivery mechanisms of training; stand & deliver in large group settings, activity based workshops, 1:1 training, creation of resource docs, etc.
- Shadowing and coaching our team members with assessment tools ready.
- Strategize internal tools training for Revenue teams. Partnering closely with Sales Operations to ensure mastery of sales tools and execute on training needs
- Partner with non-revenue stakeholders to design and deliver training content around product marketing, market positioning, new partner integrations, etc. (where Revenue employees are the end-audience)
- Work as a crucial member of sales leadership to maintain visibility on priorities, discuss upcoming training needs, discuss talent development and keep close to process changes.
- Assist Sales Leadership in identifying Learner under-performance and strategizing best course of action.
- Identify sales performance trends and associate them to training needs.
- Leverage workshops, presentations, training courses and e-learning to present training materials

Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver sales training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design and development, and training technologies, understanding that this may take various forms:
- Sales leadership or “player coach” role
- Learning and Development role supporting Sales
- HR Business Partner role supporting Sales
- Strong grasp of common sales processes, methodologies, and fundamental selling skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills and the ability to build trust with and motivate others
- Passion for helping others, driving sales results, and providing exceptional value
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and capable of delivering value with minimal supervision
