WHAT DO WE NEED? 

The Business Process Manager will apply hands-on Salesforce, opportunity to cash cycle experience and strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills to streamlining our sales, contracting, invoicing, revenue recognition and system integration processes. This high impact role will handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for developing and owning the roadmap for the opportunity to cash cycle researching and sharing knowledge associated with developing new and expanded workflows and processes to enhance pipeline visibility, revenue/cash processes and executive reporting. As an integral part of the Finance team, you will work cross functionally to gather operations and business requirements and lead process improvement and improved transparency. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Own Salesforce.com and NetSuite opportunity to cash business cycle, including roadmap, process improvement, implementation/refinement, maintenance, compliance and training 
  • Partner with accounting team to ensure that all requirements of revenue recognition (606) are implemented and adequate to pass auditor scrutiny 
  • Ensure that metadata components of Salesforce and NetSuite are adequate to power company wide account planning and analysis 
  • Work with finance to determine how proprietary SPINS data sets can be used to power opportunity management and account planning 
  • Ensure that all processes within opportunity to cash process are formally documented  
  • Regularly interact with business users to understand requirements and needs, including accounting/finance, sales, sales operations, and business unit presidents 
  • Facilitate any organizational process workshop involving liaising with users and process requirements. 
  • Carry out professional measuring and monitoring, as well as provision of feedback on performance of business processes. 
  • Educate business users that are responsible for the operation and management of various business processes. 

Success Criteria: 

  • Intimate knowledge of Salesforce.com, including CPQ. 
  • Ability to program Salesforce.com and coach/teach others 
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do the work 
  • Possess strong communication and listening skills 
  • Excellent project management skills and analytical skills with strong bias-to-action. 
  • Proven experience working with and leading senior technical contributors. 
  • Proven experience working with all levels and multiple user groups with an ability provide key insights from the data to improve overall customer service effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Ability to benchmark and analyze various business processes. 

Requirements: 

  • At least 3 years of Salesforce CRM/sales operations/BPM management experience. 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, CPQ (Steelbrick) and NetSuite 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Experience with Anaplan and PowerBI a plus
