Title: Senior Associate, Partnerships and Business Development
Location: Flexible (Remote or Chicago). If remote, will be expected to travel to Chicago at least quarterly with additional travel as needed.

Role Description:
The Senior Associate, Partnerships and Business Development will report to the Director, Partnerships and Business Development and will sit within the organization of the Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Business Development and the Chief Innovation Officer. You will support problem-solving, own both analytics and operational workstreams, and assist in making recommendations to key leaders including the C-suite on top organizational priorities.
This role will serve as an ideal jumping off point for exceptional analytical and business talent to enter a proven, high-growth organization at the cutting edge of healthcare innovation. The Senior Associate, Partnerships and Business Development will have the opportunity to own and drive mission-critical projects, gain cross-functional experience and leadership skills, and learn the Oak Street clinical and business model.
The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, be self-directed, and enjoy working with a team in a fast-paced high growth environment, while bringing their experience, leadership, and innovative ideas. The role will be fluid, evolving based on organizational priorities and the professional development of the Senior Associate. In addition to analytical projects, there will be significant opportunities to own operations that directly impact our clinical care teams and patients. This person will also get the opportunity to represent Oak Street by working directly with many of our external partners across payer, provider, facilities, health systems, and others within the healthcare ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to inform and develop new programs, lines of business, and growth opportunities
  • Manage cross-functional relationships to drive the execution of select initiatives
  • Create executive and operational reporting packages, presentations, and memos
  • Drive strategic and analytical review of new, innovative growth opportunities
  • Own an operational workstream, including working with our clinic teammates
  • Lead market and competitive research projects
  • Other duties, as assigned


What are we looking for?
We're looking for motivated, experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-5 years of analytical work experience
  • Management consulting, PE, investment banking, or healthcare analytics/operations experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and impeccable business judgment
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support effectively managing across various stakeholders within an organization
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial & analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, R, SQL) a plus but not required
  • Strong written communication skills
  • US work authorization
