What You'll Bring
BA degree and/ or 6-8 years of equivalent work experience in Global Strategic Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management, Global Procurement experience, Hardware, Data Center and Software experience is a plus.
Experienced negotiator having worked in global environments
Strong influencing and networking skills in order to work in cross functional teams across borders and sell the benefits of global deals
Knowledge of contract terms and conditions and experience working closely with a Legal team
CPSM certification preferred or any related certification of Procurement.
Experience in working within a fast paced, highly matrixed, agile environment
Experience with proactively formulating strategies and approaches to achieve project objectives.
Experience with managing, negotiating vendor agreements in M&A scenarios including transition servicing agreements (TSAs)

Minimizing contractual risks to the company while demonstrating improvement in value for cost
Leading key negotiations
Managing projects appropriately to meet timescales, working with stakeholders on business cases and making vendor recommendations
Managing responsibility for both sourcing and vendor management activities
Overseeing large sourcing engagements and vendor management programs and personally leading highly visible (multi-BU or global), complex sourcing initiatives
Aligning with key customers and achieving strategic performance goals (savings, managed spend)
Department Overview:
Global Procurement is a team of professional buyers and negotiators that acquire products and services that TransUnion requires both locally and globally. The Procurement buying teams are organized by category and commodity and are supported by IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Procurement Operations. The team also manages the relationships with vendors that supply TransUnion and also interfaces with other internal functions that oversee third party relationships such as Information Security, Accounts Payable, Finance, Legal, and Third Party Risk functions. The team manages RFI’s, RFP’s and Predictive Benchmarks to facilitate the bidding process.The two most important objectives in our negotiations is to protect the company and to get the best possible cost of ownership for the products and services being acquired\ Successfully executing global and regional deals in the timelines agreed upon with key stakeholders
