Job Description
This role is an individual contributor role and is responsible for developing, expanding, and retaining relationships with a group of defined U.S.-based financial institutions and generating new PIN, PINless, and signature debit card agreements with PULSE accounts.
Responsibilities
· Regularly engages client financial institutions (in-person, via phone and email) and prospective clients in order to maintain and grow market share by increasing activation, utilization and contribute toward the achievement of the company’s financial performance.
· Regularly engages and supports Discover Debit issuers.
· Maintains the client financial institution contact records in CRM tool.
· Maintains a pipeline of financial institution sales opportunities in CRM tool.
· Travel is required to meet with client financial institutions (and prospects), internal meetings, and industry trade shows.
· Assists with other strategic initiatives as assigned and leads and participates in unit and cross-functional projects.
· Travel will be required (approximately 40% once travel restrictions ease)
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
· Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
· 8+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or related
· In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or related
· Valid government-issued driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications

· Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
· 10+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or related
· In lieu of a degree, 12+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or related field
· Debit experience
· Excellent communication/presentation/relationship skills
· Strong negotiation skills
