What We'll Bring:
The TruValidate Solutions Consultant will support TransUnion's efforts to deliver on the Fraud and Identity Solutions revenue targets and business development objectives in support of the Public Sector sales vertical's three-year strategic plan. The Solutions Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert on the capabilities, application, and implementation of TransUnion's TruValidate solutions for local, state, and federal government, providing solution design and fraud strategy recommendations directly with customers and in support of the sales team. The Solutions Consultant will engage with customers, partners and internal resources to support the development of TransUnion product strategy and capabilities, serving as a principle liaison between customer, sales, and the TransUnion matrix. The Solutions Consultant assists the Public Sector with technical inputs to proposal development, provides product development updates and training, and will be a critical source of information on market trends and competitor capabilities. The Solutions Consultant will serve as the principle subject matter expert for necessary product capabilities supporting applicable government regulations and guidelines such as the NIST Special Publication 800-63 series.
What You'll Bring:

  • An understanding of identity and authentication solutions as applied to the Public sector, in particular a working knowledge of relevant government standards, the intent behind these, and how agencies meet them.
  • Experience positioning and selling solutions to government customers and general working knowledge of government procurement cycles.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake self-directed, independent work in pursuit of team goals.
  • Success in working with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal, sell, and deliver customer solutions.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in business development, sales and consulting.
  • Understanding and experience with the government acquisition process, to include proposal development and writing.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

  • Experience preparing and delivering confident sales presentations and leading/facilitating client interactions.
  • An understanding of the "business question" - the ability to help develop a customer position, identify needs, and how those needs relate to TransUnion's capabilities.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and success in positioning complex integrated solutions to clients.
  • Knowledge of sales planning and marketing concepts demonstrating the ability to grow revenue and market share by using a strategic, disciplined and focused approach.
  • Established and refined written and oral communication skills


Impact You'll Make:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Solutions Consultant for our TruValidate suite of identity, authentication, and fraud products to include deep architectural and technical integration discussions with government staff.
  • Assist in shaping TransUnion's ability to support the identity issues government agencies face, including firm grasp of NIST Special Publication 800-63 series
  • Be responsible for achieving annual revenue targets for our solutions.
  • Partner with the Public Sector solutions engineering team and the Public Sector sales teams from a pre-sales through post-sales capacity in positioning these solutions for the government.
  • Assist in leading client discussions around the value delivered by TruValidate solutions through written and oral communication; serve as a "Face of TransUnion" at industry events
  • Help define and facilitate the path forward for clients to understand, analyze, implement and adopt these solutions, with a goal of accelerating revenue realization.
  • Improve the Public Sector sales team's understanding of our solutions in order to improve early-stage client discussions and opportunity identification.
  • Gather and share insights to Public Sector product leadership and GFS leadership gained from client and sales interactions on unmet client needs as input for product development/expansion opportunities leveraging our TU assets.
