As a Solutions Engineer, your key responsibility is to implement Litera Microsystems' products for customers and prospective customers. This includes every facet of implementation including developing requirements, designing a solution, product configuration, testing, training, project management, and business analysis. As a Solutions Engineer, you will lead projects with the key goals of customer satisfaction and adoption of Litera Microsystems products. You will also provide pre-sales technical support related to our drafting and proofing solutions.

In addition to customer-facing work, Solutions Engineers may assist in developing team processes and procedures that enable the team to function more effectively and efficiently over time. Further, as a Solutions Engineer, you may play a role in developing less experienced team members as they learn about our products and the implementation process. Litera Microsystems Solutions Engineers also provide input into our product development process, providing feedback about our solutions to the Product Management and Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead projects
  • Provide consultative, business analyst, and project management expertise to customers and prospective customers
  • Keep all project constituents informed of project status
  • Develop comprehensive project plans
  • Ensure all product deliverables are delivered on time and on target and projects conclude successfully with high customer satisfaction
  • Configure and implement Litera Microsystems' products in a variety of customer environments
  • Make complex design, implementation, configuration and customization decisions
  • Provide troubleshooting, problem isolation and escalation as part of consulting projects
  • Provide high-quality customer training as part of consulting projects
  • Provide high-quality written materials as part of consulting projects
  • Identify creative ways to solve customer and prospective customer issues
  • Provide pre-sales assistance
  • Assist customers and prospective customers with installation via telephone and on site
  • Identify creative ways to solve customer and prospective customer issues through a deep product understanding and an innovative approach to projects

Qualifications:

  • College degree in MIS, networking or computer programming preferred
  • 2-4 years experience providing consulting, customer-facing customer service, or software support
  • Experience with Microsoft Word styles and formats desired
  • Programming skills desired
  • XML experience desired
