Vigilant Solutions is a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions Inc (MSI). This department's product lines consists of LPR, Facial Recognition and Parking. Developed for law enforcement, by law enforcement, Vigilant Solutions has created the most comprehensive online platform for generating investigative leads for law enforcement agencies throughout the world. By combining an advanced suite of license plate recognition (LPR), facial recognition and parking with unmatched analytics and exclusive content, our organization seeks to improve safety for both officers and communities alike. Vigilant Solutions helps law enforcement agencies to investigate crimes such as criminal homicide, forcible rape, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, arson, and kidnapping. Our platform provides law enforcement with intelligence to combat broader issues such as narcotics, gangs, organized crime, terrorism, and narcotics trafficking.
Job Description

Vigilant Solutions a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) is looking to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovative public safety solutions to join our Western Division Sales Team as the SeniorSolutions Sales Representative. The primary role of this individual will be to sell and represent all our product offerings into the state of Texas and Oklahoma region which includes LPR, Facial Recognition and Parking. This individual will work closely with operations, finance, support, engineering and our training Client Relations Team (CRT). This individual should possess the ability to effectively present to C+ level executives, multi-task, prioritize, manage their time effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service.

The Sr. Solutions Sales Representative will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Ability to develop and execute on winning strategy for the TX, OK region

  • Schedule and lead customer meetings

  • Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings

  • Identifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitude

  • Ability to resolve product or service related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and channeling those issues to the Vigilant Support Team

  • Regular client follow-ups to ensure “Total Customer Satisfaction”

  • Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers

  • Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the Vigilant products and services that were purchased

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience or 8+ years of sales/public safety experience

  • Seeking outside sales experience in public safety industry or government agencies

  • Abiility for 25% - 50% travel to multiple states

  • Competent in both Microsoft Outlook / Google Gmail applications and Sales Force

  • This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers. 


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience or 8+ years of sales/public safety experience

  • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
