Department OverviewVigilant Solutions is a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions Inc (MSI). This department's product lines consists ot LPR, Facial Recognition, Ballistics and Parking. Developed for law enforcement, by law enforcement, Vigilant Solutions has created the most comprehensive online platform for generating investigative leads for law enforcement agencies throughout the world. Job Description
Vigilant Solutions, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) is looking to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovative public safety solutions to join our team as the Sr. Solutions Sales Representative. The primary role of this individual will be to sell and represent all our product offerings which includes LPR, Facial Recognition, Ballistics and Parking. This individual will work closely with our other Regional Sales Manager, operations, finance, support, engineering and our training Client Relations Team (CRT). This individual should possess the ability to effectively present to C+ level executives, multi-task, prioritize, manage their time effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Additional requirements and responsibilities of the role include but not limited to the following:
- Ability to develop and execute on a winning strategy for the Great Lakes region
- Schedule and lead customer meetings
- Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings
- Identifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitude
- Ability to resolve product or service related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and channeling those issues to the Vigilant Support Team
- Regular client follow-ups to ensure “Total Customer Satisfaction”
- Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers
- Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the Vigilant products and services that were purchased
- Ability to grow sales pipeline, hit quarterly and annual quotas for the region, plus deliver a great customer experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience or 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
- Seeking outside sales experience in public safety industry or government agencies
- Ability for 50% - 60% travel to multiple states
- Competent in both Microsoft Outlook / Google Gmail applications and Sales Force
