The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for driving partnership growth for Amount. You will focus on maintaining and building relationships with c-suite level executives within our current bank partnerships with the goal of increasing the overall success of the partnership. You will be the responsible executive to define the strategic plans, identify and execute cross-sell opportunities, lead contract negotiations and resolve c-suite level concerns. As an early member of the business development team, you will have the opportunity to help define our sales process, marketing strategy and influence our future product roadmaps.

What you will do at Amount:

  • Identify and maintain c-suite level relationships with our current bank partners
  • Create and execute on relationship plans for each of bank partners 
  • Understand the partners digital challenges and propose the right Amount product to help solve the need
  • Qualify opportunities to strike a balance between strategic importance, revenue potential and execution effort
  • Become an expert on the Amount product offering and more broadly digital transformation within financial services
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers, Sales Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and other internal stakeholders to create a seamless experience for the partner
  • Represent Amount at trade-shows and / or conferences 

Why you are a fit for Amount:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of consulting or direct software sales experience, preferably enterprise level SaaS
  • Track record of negotiating, structuring and executing highly complex enterprise-level agreements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Strong ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders
  • Prior experience working with internal cross functional teams to close deals (e.g. business development, marketing, product, technology, etc.)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
