GoHealth’s Strategic Partnerships team manages all B2B relationships, spanning Account Management, External Distribution, and Business Development. As a Strategy Associate in this department you will work cross-functionally to support all B2B initiatives, provide strategic and operational support to the Strategic Partnerships team, and identify new opportunities for expansion of enterprise relationships. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of structuring and executing analyses that drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end work streams from strategic assessment through proposal creation, internal approval, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management
  • Use analytics and modeling to provide innovative ideas that keep GoHealth at the forefront of industry
  • Structure and execute analyses, using data-based decision-making to optimize our financial, operational and growth objectives
  • Drive projects from ideation to execution to deliver outcomes that create tangible business value
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to optimize programs, grow existing relationships, and expand new partnerships
  • Create new processes that support businesses by decreasing costs, increasing efficiency, and reducing cycle time
  • Draft and iterate short- and long-term strategy proposals for the business unit

 Skills and Experience:

  • BA or BS degree with 2-3 years of work experience, preferably with a top-tier management consulting, venture capital, or private equity firm
  • Understanding of foundational business concepts (e.g., EBITDA, market segmentation) and the primary KPIs/levers associated with each
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with proven ability to derive meaningful insights that create business value
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to drive forward impactful changes
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects

To Mordacq, it’s important to know colleagues at a deeper level, pointing to daily team check-ins, “coffee walks” and events as ways her team strengthens its ties. “This contributes to a high level of comfort and confidence in one another and provides space for team members to be honest about their work and life goals, concerns and roadblocks,” she said.
