Team Lead, Customer Success
We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Team Lead, Customer Success to join our North America Customer Success team. The Team Lead, Customer Success will be responsible for managing premier clients and managing direct reports on the Customer Success team. They will demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership skills, relationship building skills, leveraging exceptional communication ability, planning, execution and analysis to drive new and existing initiatives, while raising the bar for excellence in both the customer and employee experience.
As a Team Lead, Customer Success, you'll contribute strategic and analytical thinking on a top-tier book of business, as well as business judgment, and operational skills. You will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices for customer success, leading the team in sustaining their trusted advisor status with customers.
What you’ll do:
- Overseeing the lifecycle and all aspects of your book including on-boarding, value realization, and renewal, while spearheading further adoption of IAS services for several highly strategic accounts
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders and executive sponsors, fostering regular, impactful engagement.
- Provide thought leadership and become a recognized industry expert externally. Lead engagement for key customers and partners.
- Grow and manage team, recognize potential, and support career development.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly & annual targets and provide an accurate team forecast and risk analysis.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships cross‐departmentally with IAS Teams.
- Manage execution of key growth-driving initiatives, securing support from internal stakeholders at regional and global level, and lead strategy setting and execution across other functions.
- Serve as point of escalation for critical customer issues. Work with sales and support to resolve issues and help remove barriers for the team.
- Take the lead in ensuring operational efficiency and process development.
- Accelerate the ramp time of new hires.
What you’ll need:
- 7+ years in a client-facing customer success/account management role in ad tech
- Experience managing at least 2-3 direct reports
- Service-oriented ethos with a strong business mindset and the ability to build strategic plans to engage senior level customers.
- Experience managing, consulting, and negotiating with clients with an excellent track record of retaining and growing a portfolio.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects to completion and precise attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and rapid-growth environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Salesforce proficiency is ideal
