Our Technical Account Managers are passionate about ensuring our Google Cloud clients are realizing the full potential and value from their cloud technology investments. They are client driven and bring a strong level of cloud expertise, business acumen and client engagement skills to advise and support a client’s individual journey to the cloud.   

Ideally, you’re someone with a background with a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect background who’s passionate about client success, and wants to grow those skills by solving real-world customer problems. You have worked with clients and users in business critical environments. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting the right opportunities to do so. Your Life As A Maven:

  • Own the client relationship, serving as an interface between the client and Maven Wave to ensure client’s enhanced support and technical advisory needs are addressed.
  • Delivery trusted advisor recommendations and guidance by developing a deep understanding of a client's business objectives and technology configuration.
  • Manage and facilitate directional cloud journey discussions in partnership with the Google account team and advocate for client needs.
  • Assist client adoption of cloud by presenting technical guidance and best practice training, and continuously improve content based on industry trends and client feedback.
  • Advise clients on cloud spend management best practices, tools, and dashboards while proposing cost optimization options.

Your Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience working with one of the major public cloud providers with strong preference toward GCP, in a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect capacity.
  • Technical generalist with skills across multiple facets of the cloud environment
  • Conversant in fundamental topics, including IT operations, database systems, networking, IT security, service architecture, cloud-native application development, storage systems, and cloud billing.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills coupled with client relationship management skills.  
  • Certification in at least one of the major public cloud providers.
  • Google Cloud Platform experience preferred.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
