As the Technical Solutions Director you will incorporate a combination of project oversight, customer relationship, team coordination, and requirements definition. You will accurately scope out the scope and success criteria of Proof of Values (POVs) and demo assets; setting objectives and goals to break down work into process steps to successfully execute POVs and convert them to production implementations. You have experience collaborating with Product Management on feature requests and demo requirements, and you can anticipate for and adjust for problems and roadblocks. At the end of a Proof of Value (POV), you measure performance against success criteria and evaluate results.

As the Technical Sales Director you will global responsibility for POVs and demo assets and manage a team that executes on your strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage multiple Proof of Values in a fast-paced work environment
  • Provide a world class customer experience, consistently engaging them to identify how project44 can be a better partner
  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams to ensure on time, on budget, quality initiatives that support project44’s business & technology strategies
  • Communicate directly with all levels of the company
  • Meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers going above and beyond to get first-hand customer information and use it for improvements in products and services. 
  • Identify and mitigate Proof of Value risks
  • Consistently meet or exceed success criteria targets with high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication
  • Develop, improve and maintain internal management processes

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

  • 4+ years of project management experience
  • Preferred Sales Engineering background &/or development background
  • Must be able to work in a complex, solution selling environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information, status, and issues in a clear and concise manner at all levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented and process focused
  • History of providing exceptional customer experience and engagement
  • Able to understand and be involved in the technical details in order to successfully gather and understand complex requirements and drive POVs to exceed success criteria
  • Working knowledge of API design and documentation
  • B.S. degree from an accredited institution
