The Vice President of Sales is responsible for architecting and administering LotLinx’s direct sales efforts.  The VP of Sales will develop a detailed, bottoms up sales plan, build a world class sales organization, and manage the sales organization to achieve stated objectives. The person in this role will be responsible for sales strategy as well as hands-on leadership to develop and motivate a high-performance sales team. This position will be based at our headquarters in downtown Chicago.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for achieving company market share and revenue goals.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and lead high-performance sales development and sales account teams.
  • Diligently track overall sales organization performance and manage to revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Executives to evaluate new revenue opportunities.
  • Drive internal growth through the coordination of sales training, customer-driven product feedback, and the development of new selling competencies.
  • Leverage channel partners to drive higher penetration in the company’s target markets.
  • Monitor and proactively address relevant industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 to 10 years sales management experience in a related field.
  • Experience building a comparable sales organization from the ground up.
  • Excellent coaching skills: ability to observe, evaluate and give meaningful feedback and direction.
  • Strong analytical skills: review relevant data, draw meaningful conclusion and take action.
  • Communications skills: must deliver information efficiently and accurately to the right people, at the right time in the right medium.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft office suite.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Automotive technology or automotive retail experience.
  • Digital marketing or marketing technology experience.
  • Experience with Sales Acceleration tools.
  • Inspired and enthusiastic personality to keep Account Representatives motivated and on-track.
  • Collaborative; working well with others and Executives.
