The Vice President of Strategic Accounts works cross functionally between the sales and operations teams. This position is ultimately responsible for growing revenue for large scale enterprise accounts. Additionally, this resource will oversee customer success for strategic accounts, is responsible for managing all higher-level client relationships and maintaining a strategic long-term view of accounts.
Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic account plans and identify up-sell opportunities for strategic accounts
  • Negotiate renewal and expansion opportunities
  • Have the ability to manage customer escalations
  • Build and develop a best-in class customer success process and playbook
  • Coordinate with operating teams to ensure seamless execution of the solution
  • Conduct client ideation and business review sessions
  • Interact with the senior management of clients, including through in-person site visits, to continuously demonstrate the value of SMS Assist's services and expand professional relationships
  • Deepen relationships with existing customers
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex and challenging client requirements that fall outside of standard procedure and historical precedent
  • Provide consultative support to customers when it comes to budgetary and strategic facilities management decisions
  • Recruit and build a team of future customer success leaders
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 15+ years of experience in sales and account management
  • Experience within the facilities management industry is required
