VP, Strategic Account Development

What will you be doing?
The VP, Strategic Account Development is a department stakeholder position within MoLo’s Customer Operations program. As the VP, Strategic Account Development, you are accountable for leading MoLo’s Account Management (AM) team and ensuring the holistic performance of the program. You are responsible for scaling a sustainable system that optimizes customer success, as well as, empowering Account Managers and providing them the necessary resources to achieve their professional goals. You are also responsible for the development and performance of the Managers of Strategic Account Development. You are expected to collaborate with Managers on both program and account level strategy and goals in a manner that aligns with MoLo’s growth objectives. The VP, Strategic Account Development is an experienced leader, a freight expert, and someone who can effectively communicate at a high level, including enterprise customer relationship development. You are expected to leverage your experience and expertise to maximize the success of MoLo’s Account Management program.
You will treat all members of the MoLo family (Customer, Carriers, and Colleagues) with utmost respect and embody all MoLo core values.
You will report directly to Vice President, Customer Operations.
You are is eligible for MoLo’s management bonus program which is paid out quarterly.
This leadership position will be hired as either the VP level or Director level depending on the candidate's skillset, qualifications, and logistics experience.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Oversight of program and account level strategy and performance.
- Manager development and performance reviews
- Internal + external buy/sell strategy and execution
- Freight market communication and education
Advanced Learning and Development Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
C-Level exposure, probabilities and risk management, advanced freight market trends, high-level customer relations

- Holistic success and growth of customer account management program

Requirements
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years of previous experience in 3PL Account Management or Operations
- 5+ years of previous experience in management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to drive growth strategy and execute with industry leading results
