The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys coming up with new ideas, is comfortable communicating them to a variety of stakeholders and other managers, and who is excited by the prospect of working constantly to improve performance.
SUMMARY:
The Director of Partnership Development will be responsible for pursuing Online Program Management (OPM) partnerships for graduate level and upskilling non-credit programs, developing new and existing relationships with universities nationwide. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with leading public and private universities, experience selling complex multiple year partnership opportunities to senior academic leaders. As the representative of All Campus you will independently lead the sales and business development activities focusing on generating new university partnerships. Extensive travel will also be required and may account for as much as 75% of the Director of Partnership Development 's time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development:

  • Prospect new clients for Online Program Management (OPM) partnerships with top public and private universities
  • Build and maintain robust sales pipeline
  • Negotiate contract terms
  • Provide consultative marketing solutions and superior customer service to prospective and current clients.
  • Develop and lead sales presentations with senior level academic leaders at universities
  • Present and consult on in-depth online program viability market research
  • Strategic initiatives to expand new opportunities across colleges with existing university clients
  • Create and present proposals and pro formas
  • Build and maintain Salesforce database of prospective contact lists
  • Maintain a sales opportunity pipeline in Salesforce of activities and opportunities
  • Travel for meetings and conferences.
  • Create and close end-to-end partnership opportunities by prospecting new opportunities, generating sales correspondences, proposals, sales calls, and completing sales


Strategic Business Development Support with Partnership Development Directors/Managers:

  • May support day-to-day activities of team members
  • Contribute to creation of sales presentation materials
  • Prepare and assist in coaching of research analysis and presentation strategy
  • Attend and support in-person sales presentations
  • Strategize on research requests and meeting follow-ups
  • Support develop and review of proposals and pro formas
  • Lead and negotiate contract terms
  • Assist in supporting sales training


RFP and Research:

  • Contribute to creation and strategy of RFP's with research team
  • Lead and strategize research requests between partnership development directors/managers and research team
  • Contribute to sales research improvements and processes


Business Development Operations:

  • Contribute to sales strategy for targets of universities, programs, and go to market strategy
  • Sales materials - email strategy and templates, sales marketing materials, and case studies
  • Management and optimization of Salesforce reports, automated email, and tracking
  • Process improvements of the sales handoff to client service
  • Market awareness and representation of All Campus services


SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position may have supervisory responsibilities for Partnership Development Director, Partnership Development Manager positions.


EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

  • College degree, with focus in Business/Marketing is preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of business development experience with an online program management (OPM) or a focus in the higher education industry is preferred
  • Experience in business development/agency marketing services for education industry
