The Company

At Servant, we specialize in empowering leaders and organizations within faith communities through innovative digital transformation and change management solutions. We are dedicated to providing tailored strategies that align with our clients' values and missions, focusing on service, integrity, and excellence. Our team is passionate about driving impactful change by equipping our partners with the tools and technologies they need to thrive in a digital age.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Architect/Developer to join our team. This role requires proven experience in leading Salesforce architecture and hands-on development within a nonprofit setting, including safely extending NPSP, productionizing TaskRay for project workflows, and implementing Agentforce and Einstein to deliver measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Delivery: Translate requirements into scalable designs (data model, security, Flows, Apex, LWC). Decide “click vs. code” with clear guardrails.
  • NPSP: Extend without breaking upgradability; resolve conflicts with standard objects/automation; rationalize objects/fields and uplift data quality.
  • TaskRay: Implement templates, dependencies, and cross-object automation; integrate with Flows, Platform Events, and Apex as needed.
  • Agentforce/AI: Integrate assistants/bots with secure data flows, logging, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
  • Automations & Integrations: Ship practical workflow automations and priority integrations (Microsoft 365, WhatsApp Cloud API, Mailchimp).
  • Quality & DevOps: Enforce coding standards, reviews, testing, CI/CD; apply least-privilege security.

Requirements
  • 5+ years on Salesforce; 2+ as architect/lead dev in Nonprofit Cloud/NPSP.
  • Proven TaskRay implementation for onboarding/project tracking.
  • Strong Apex, LWC, SOQL, and record-triggered Flows; governor-limit discipline.
  • Reusable patterns (service/domain layers, subflows/flow actions, LWCs).
  • Experience integrating Agentforce/Einstein Bots with secure data handling and audit.
  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Copado/etc.), package strategy, high test coverage.
  • Required certifications:
    • Salesforce Certified Application Architect https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/applicationarchitect
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/credentials/administrator
  • Nice to Have:
    • Salesforce Platform Developer II, System Architect (CTA a plus).
    • Marketing/messaging integrations (Mailchimp, WhatsApp), Microsoft 365 sync.
    • Data Cloud, Platform Events/CDC; responsible-AI practices.
