As a Salesforce Developer, you are responsible for improving and enhancing the Salesforce platform by collaborating on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validating the proposals, and delivering the solutions.
Starting base pay for this role is between $117,000 and $146,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities

  • Maintains an understanding of Origami's business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them. This will include Salesforce, CPQ and Salesforce/Internal tool integrations.
  • Develops utilizing Declarative and Programmatic tools including Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, and Flow to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements.
  • Performs application development and assists with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Understands how to utilize Connected Apps with REST API. Able to understand the integration points between the two systems to extend functionality using declarative and programmatic solutions.
  • Gathers, analyzes, and documents functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end users via internal ticketing system.
  • Adheres to Salesforce best practices, maintains code documentation, identifies and fixes security gaps, and writes and maintains test classes for all custom development.
  • Collaborates with Salesforce Administrators to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
  • Owns release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Collaborates with IT, Development, and CISO for other systems in order to integrate across the business.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in Salesforce Development.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or business-related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Additional Salesforce Certifications preferred.
    • Salesforce Platform App Builder
    • Salesforce Industries CPQ Developer
  • Strong understanding of CPQ.
    • Product Catalog/modeling
    • Multi-Dimensional Quoting (MDQ).
    • Product Rules, Price Rules, and Option Constraints.
    • Discount Schedules (volume based and term based), product Pricing Methods (list, cost, block pricing).
    • Guided Selling Process.
    • Product Options and Features.

Our Chicago HQ office is situated right on the river at LaSalle & Wacker – convenient to both the Loop and River North neighborhoods downtown. The building itself has a few restaurants inside along with plenty others within a one block radius. It is public transit friendly as well!
