Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Technical Business Analyst (TBA) to support telecom service delivery and service assurance systems. This role will facilitate stakeholder working sessions, develop and prioritize business requirements, work with development teams, organize and execute sprint planning and sprint execution, UAT and manage tool demonstrations to optimize user experience for operational tools.  

Sitting at the intersection of business process and technology, this role requires a blend of analytical rigor, communication finesse, and technical understanding to translate complex requirements and development into actionable solutions that drive delivery efficiency and operational excellence. This role will work closely with system architects, business users, and technology teams to ensure alignment across the full delivery lifecycle. This position is fully remote working MST to EST hours. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. Please note that we do not work C2C.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and Evaluate Systems: Review, analyze, and evaluate information technology systems, data flows, and operational processes across product service delivery and testing
  • Lead Requirements Gathering: Conduct end-to-end requirements elicitation through interviews, workshops, and independent research. Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
  • Bridge Business and Technical Teams: Act as the primary liaison between users, business stakeholders, and technical/development teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.
  • Support Agile Delivery: Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups; ensure user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables are clearly defined, validated, and tracked in JIRA.
  • Document and Communicate: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation such as business requirements, process maps, system issues, defects and resolution logs. Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product owners, architects, engineers, and delivery teams to align system design and implementation with business goals and service delivery needs.
  • Test and Validate Solutions: Support QA and UAT processes by verifying that delivered functionality meets business and technical requirements.
  • Optimize Tools and Workflows: Recommend and support enhancements to key delivery systems to streamline engineering processes.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data-driven insights to identify performance gaps, propose workflow refinements, and contribute to the evolution of telecom service delivery capabilities.

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with business requirements, gathering, and translating requirements to development teams and working between development and business unit stakeholders
  • Experience working in network technology or with development teams in a data, business analysis, or project management function.
  • Scrum Master, Business Analyst and/or Agile certifications strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development management methodologies
  • Experience in industry like telecommunications or broadband is required
  • Experience with Atlassian's Confluence software such as Jira, Chalk is required.
  • Experience or training in Amazon Q desired.
  • Ability to interpret system logic and APIs a plus
  • Experience working with senior decision makers and presenting reports and analysis
  • Strong communication, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to document and adhere to business requirements
  • Data-oriented, well-organized personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
