Today, Provi is better than ever. We’ve created a best-in-class ordering solution that better connects beverage alcohol professionals across 35 states and growing, with more than 750,000 product listings that make up the most expansive and trusted database of U.S. distributor portfolios.

  • Actively participate in all phases of Agile methodology, contributing to planning, grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Work collaboratively with other developers and teams, focusing on customer benefits and cross-functional feature delivery.

What we are looking for

  • Proficiency in Service Oriented Architecture and building REST APIs specifically for search services. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the key components of scalable web services architecture, including experience in enhancing search capabilities within these systems.
  • Experience with data modeling and working with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB), particularly in relation to search.
  • Familiarity with building and deploying search services on AWS.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, CI/CD systems, and addressing scale and performance issues in search functionalities.
  • Ability to work closely with frontend developers to ensure integration and performance optimization of backend search APIs.
