Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Senior Administrator, IT Infrastructure – IT Application Services at Invenergy, you are responsible for the End User Compute experience for our employees. Responsibilities include creating a functional and performant workstation environment and providing Level 3 support to the Service Desk for all physical and virtual desktops, laptops, tablets and mobile devices at Invenergy. The IT Application Services Senior Administrator helps design and implement workstation and mobile solutions for our corporate offices, new renewable power generation plants, and other projects.  Deployment of software solutions and successful maintenance of these platforms is essential for security, reliability and compliance. We expect strong verbal and written communication skills, and a customer-service focused work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordination of Endpoint device purchasing, asset management, licensing, and delivery for new hires and associated with projects such as office expansions, new power generation sites, and other projects
  • Responsible for OS deployment, configuration, and delivery of Windows desktops/laptops, iOS/Android devices (both domestically and internationally)
  • Microsoft 365 administration SME, including experience with Microsoft Unified Communications with Teams Voice and Exchange
  • Maintain and support for the Physical Access Control platforms - Genetec and Isonas
  • Participate in regular operations meetings and provide endpoint reporting as requested, including timely workstation patch status, OS and application vulnerability scanning and assessment, endpoint upgrades and replacements, purchasing, and asset management
  • Responsible for endpoint operations and management, including but not limited to: perform timely patching and remediation for endpoint devices using a combination of InTune (required) and Automox (preferred)
  • Endpoint management via InTune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and other tools
  • Support for physical peripheral systems such as printers and physical handset phones
  • Create, edit, and troubleshoot Intune application packages and Automox worklets
  • Create, edit, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects as they relate to the workstation environment
  • Provide level 3 support for Service Desk escalations and break/fix issues with an understanding of ITIL framework best practices
  • Contribute to workstation governance and process evaluation, improvement, and documentation
  • Participate in the IT Off-Hours support rotation following the company’s incident response and escalation policy
  • Participate in the IT Change Management process and regularly scheduled maintenance windows outside business hours
  • May require occasional travel to local or remote offices, datacenters, and power generation sites in the USA and abroad for supporting systems and project-related work
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in computer science or related field
  • 3 years’ experience serving the role as an Endpoint Administrator, or similar responsibilities, with in-depth experience provisioning and managing Windows endpoints devices using Microsoft System Center, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Microsoft Autopilot
  • Experience building workstation imaging task sequences, packaging applications, and patching operating systems
  • Experience managing non-Windows mobile devices such as Macbooks, Android and iPhone devices with Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Experience creating and administering desktop as a service (DaaS), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint technical issues
  • Must be able to communicate and work effectively, both verbally and electronically, with other employees in all areas of the business, both within and outside the IT department
  • Must have excellent English speaking/writing skills
  • May require travel to Invenergy datacenters and offices and requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel by air domestically or internationally
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-lingual applicants with Spanish as a secondary language

Base Pay

$115,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual

Bonus: 20% - 30%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
