The Sr. BI Engineer will develop and support technologies for the Oracle 11i/R12 OBIEE implementation. S/he will work using Oracle Reporting Solution OBIEE+, and will develop reports using Answers, pre-packaged Oracle BI Apps (such as Supply Chain Analytics, Order Management Analytics, Financial Analytics, Procurement and Spent Analytics), Reports and Dash Boards, BI publisher Reports. S/he will develop technologies for Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, WMS, ASCP, Demantra, and Order Management.  S/he will interpret requirements data, maps current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented. S/he will develop plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes by building custom schema, ETL mappings, answer analysis reports and dash boards in OBIEE+.  S/he will build ETL maps, custom schema, security setups, custom reports and custom dash boards on OBIEE platform using ETL tools (Informatica) and Oracle pre-built BI Apps. S/he will leverage strong analytical and problem solving skills to identify and deliver actionable insights. S/he will provide guidance to other BI team members in Oracle OBIEE applications and standards for interfaces and bolt-on components. S/he will manage internal client expectations and balance the needs of the company and the client to ensure satisfaction for both.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related and 5 year of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Transactional applications, Design and Implementation of Data Warehouse, System Analysis, Design, Development and Data Modeling. Additionally, the applicant must have 5 years of professional experience with: (1) Developing Informatica Mappings / Mapplets using various Transformations for Extraction, Transformation; (2) Loading of data from Multiple Sources to Data Warehouse and creating Workflows with Worklets & Tasks and scheduling using Workflow Manager and DAC; (3) Security Setup (roles/groups, access / query/report privileges) and OLTP/OLAP databases; (4) SQL and developing OBIEE Repository (.rpd) at three layers (Physical Layer, Business Model & Presentation Layer) and Metadata objects configuration; (5) Report development (Analysis/BI Publisher), interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global & local Filters Experience in creating Metadata Objects; and (6) Web Catalog Objects (Dashboards, Pages, and Reports) using OBIEE Admin Tool.
