Senior Data Analyst: RXBAR is one of the fastest growing natural brands in the country. This growth comes from dynamic distribution channels including e-commerce, independent specialty locations like coffee shops and fitness studios, strategic enterprise accounts like Caribou and Life Time Fitness and traditional channels like grocery, convenience, mass and club. Our distribution and retail partners require support, organization and tracking.

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for collection of data from multiple sources (SPINS, Salesforce, Nielsen, Consumer Data, 3rd party portals, etc.) to create standardized reporting and to identify opportunities for RXBAR in volume, share, price, and promotion.

General Functions + Job Responsibilities:

  • Category (Retailer) Reporting
    • Responsible for the management and maintenance of databases, reports, and portals
    • Create/develop/establish standardized best practice reporting, and take on responsibility for report updates, both weekly and monthly
    • Generate reports with syndicated and internal sales sources to support RXBAR’s category development and sales forecasting strategy
    • Maintain and develop regular internal and Retailer specific scorecards and trackers
  • Distributor Reporting
    • Lead and own the creation of distributor reporting
    • Providing timely, comprehensive updates on activities and best practices to distributor and cross-functionally
    • Develop and deploy tracking and measuring tools to allow for identification of areas of opportunity
    • Provide data support for distributor leadership presentations
    • Create and utilize OOS and Void reports to up-level Territory Managers and Broker execution
    • Analyze and communicate On Hand and On Order reports to support Supply Chain team
  • Analysis
    • Be the one source of truth to drive the company forward across functions
    • Implement solutions and track, measure, and communicate results
    • Identify opportunity gaps in volume, share, pricing, promotion, and product distribution
    • Perform post program and promotional results analysis
    • Provide support to Sales and Marketing by responding to ad-hoc data requests, answering questions, and providing basic technical support and analysis
    • Collect and organize data from the field about RXBAR and our competitors

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales reporting function at a CPG company or 2-4 years of analytical experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Experience using business intelligence tools like Tableau, and SQL to build reports and dashboards to conduct analysis is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
  • Previous experience creating and building reporting framework and capabilities for an organization
  • Comfortable building and navigating complex reports with large and disparate data sets
  • Positive attitude, intellectually curious, and an excitement for growing our business
  • Experience in Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, Nielsen/IRI Panel, Salesforce, Retailer Point-Of-Sale, Distributor Shipment, and Consumer data a plus
  • Highly organized
