This role will oversee end-to-end Workday implementations and optimizations across HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Performance modules, while managing a high-performing team and driving cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate brings deep Workday expertise, and a passion for innovation, data-driven decision-making, and user-centered design.

Who you’re committed to being:

  • A strategic, product-minded HR Technology leader who’s passionate about using technology to elevate the team member experience.

  • A builder who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning complex business needs into elegant, scalable solutions.

  • A coach and collaborator who develops talent, inspires innovation, and communicates with clarity and purpose.

  • A continuous learner who embraces experimentation, seeks feedback, and leads with empathy and curiosity.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Pluralsight’s Workday platform and broader People Technology ecosystem, ensuring it delivers measurable business and team member value.

  • Act as product owner for Workday leading the design, implementation, and enhancement of modules across HCM, Compensation, Talent, and Performance.

  • Drive innovation within Workday by exploring new functionality, AI-driven automation, and emerging capability that improves experience and efficiency.

  • Lead Pluralsight’s Workday team (3 direct reports), fostering a culture of product thinking, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Partner cross-functionally with the People Team (HRPBs, People Operations, TA, Total Rewards), Technology, and business stakeholders to understand user needs, define technical requirements, and deliver solutions that scale globally.

  • Oversee system integrations across the People Team, Technology, Finance and business systems, ensuring clean data architecture, efficient workflows, and data integrity.

  • Guide vendor relationships, budgets, and project delivery, ensuring alignment to business priorities and measurable ROI.

  • Champion data-driven decision making through advanced Workday reporting, dashboards, and analytics, empowering leaders with actionable insights.

  • Apply design thinking and agile methodologies to rapidly prototype and iterate solutions that enhance engagement and productivity.

  • Stay ahead of trends in People Technology and workforce innovation to ensure Pluralsight’s platforms remain future-ready.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Proven ability to lead end-to-end Workday projects including configuration, integrations, and optimization within a complex, global organization.

  • Experience managing and developing technical teams and fostering a culture of ownership and learning.

  • Expertise in Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, APIs), advanced reporting (matrix, composite, and trending reports) and dashboards.

  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with success partnering across the People Team, Technology, Finance, and senior leadership.

  • Experience applying product management principles (roadmapping, user feedback, prioritization) to People Technology.

  • Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with project and ticket tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, ZenDesk).

  • Workday certifications in relevant modules (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Benefits) are a plus.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of progressive People Technology experience, with deep hands-on expertise in Workday (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Talent Acquisition, Performance, Benefits).

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.
