JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a senior product data analyst to support product managers and tech leads on securities-based lending system development and ongoing operations. The goal is to ensure that the product development work and client projects are implemented successfully in all aspects and delivered timely with high quality. The senior product data analyst will assist product managers, project managers, and/or research staff for data related research and analysis project assignments. The senior product data analyst will have opportunities to gain hands on experience in financial data analysis, and how it works in fintech products and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize Analytical Tools: Actively engage with in-house analytical tools, reports, and data validation modules to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data. Provide actionable feedback to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Conduct Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data analysis to support data product development. Make informed decisions based on data-driven insights to drive product solutions.
  • Liaise with Development Team: Clearly communicate data requirements and insights to the development team to facilitate the creation of effective data solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Provide support for quality assurance by testing products in various environments, identifying and troubleshooting system bugs, and ensuring high standards of product functionality.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for both internal and external communications, offering expertise and guidance on data-related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in data science, computer science, finance or related major is required
  • 2 years of related professional work experience is required. 
  • Highly analytical and quantitative thinking
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and SQL. Python experience is preferred
  • Knowledge in finance and accounting is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and follow-up skills
  • Self-starter with high level of motivation and detail orientation
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or education industries preferred
