In recent years, Double Good has seen 40% year over year growth, and we’re excited about our future! We’re excited about the possibility of you joining our mission. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in D365 F&O to join our growing IT team.

Location - onsite at our Elmhurst facility. 

About the role:

Development and Customization:

  • Collect requirements from stakeholders and architect the functional solution in D365
  • Architect the technical solution and implement it by developing the code or working with 3rd parties to develop the code.
  • Develop and customize D365 F&O solutions using X++ to meet business requirements.
  • Create and modify forms, reports, workflows, and other system components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the D365 F&O environment.
  • Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Provide support and efficiently resolve production and operations problems.
  • Responsible for unit testing applications and components to meet customer requirements.
  • Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developments.

Upgrades and Updates:

  • Plan, execute, and test D365 F&O upgrades and updates.
  • Assess the impact of updates on existing customizations and configurations.
  • Migrate data and configurations between D365 F&O environments.
  • Keep up to date on new capabilities and deprecations for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Support the upgrade process for D365 and help shape the future of ERP and associated applications.

Azure Integration:

  • Integrate D365 F&O with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps.
  • Configure and manage Azure-based infrastructure for D365 F&O deployments.

PowerApps Development:

  • Develop and customize PowerApps to extend the functionality of D365 F&O.
  • Integrate PowerApps with D365 F&O data and processes.

Lifecycle Services (LCS):

  • Utilize LCS to manage D365 F&O environments, deployments, and updates.
  • Monitor system health and performance using LCS tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve LCS-related issues.

Business Analysis:

  • Perform analysis to track the performance of current products and evaluate new release outcomes.
  • Assist in testing technical solutions for business problems by defining, analyzing, and documenting test requirements.
  • Conduct various levels of user acceptance testing at the project and product level.
  • Implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way while maintaining quality and security standards.

Experience & Skills we value:

  • 8+ years of experience in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) of D365FO or Dynamics AX.
  • 5+ years of experience in Logic Apps, Service Bus, Canvas App Configuration, Power Portals, Power Automate, and Power BI Reporting.
  • General knowledge of D365 F&O functionality and modules in the Power Platform context.
  • Experience in embedded Power BI in D365 F&O is a plus.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry, particularly in Food & Beverage, is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of relational database queries (SQL).
  • Strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Certifications in D365 F&O, Azure, or PowerApps are preferred.
  • Experience with D365 F&O implementation projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI and Azure Data Factory, is a plus.

Nice to have: 

  • Prior IT support experience
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI and Azure Data Factory, is a plus.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry, particularly in Food & Beverage, is a plus.
  • Certifications in D365 F&O, Azure, or PowerApps are preferred.
  • Experience with D365 F&O implementation projects is a plus

Base Pay range for this position:

  • $95,000 - $135,000 annually
  • Target Annual Bonus: 15% of base salary

The final discretionary compensation that will be offered for this role depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
