Job Description
We are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for overseeing the development of our vulnerability management and the reliability of our systems and services. He/She will work closely with various teams in the company to identify and automate our production workflows with emphasis on cyber security.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tooling and automation for patching activities
- Work closely with security experts and engineering teams to meet and exceed industry security standards
- Responsible for the continual reliability and scalability of company’s hosted and cloud infrastructure and applications
- Participate in the development and execution on IT roadmap projects
- Resolve systems, network, and application layer issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications
- Degree in CS, Engineering, or similar is preferred
- Deep working knowledge in Linux systems and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Experience in Developing applications, tools, automation, and required infrastructure for large environments
- Extensively use automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Well versed in vulnerability management and security products such as Qualys, crowdstrike, etc.
- Troubleshooting expert utilizing Splunk and other monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of IT Operations best practices in an always-up environment
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with containerization such as Kubernetes
