What You’ll Do:

The Solutions & Delivery Lead is responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions that address the Manufacturing sector’s most complex business problems. You’ll collaborate with Uptake colleagues across our business ventures, product, and data science teams to understand the challenges our partners face and how Uptake’s technologies can solve them. The Solutions & Delivery Lead - Manufacturing will be responsible for being a top subject matter expert on the use of predictive analytics in manufacturing. That may mean predicting when and how manufacturing equipment will fail; giving field technicians the insights and knowledge they need to make smarter decisions, or creating better software for quality, safety, and productivity. The Solutions & Delivery Lead manages the charge for Uptake on the ground, spending time on the shop floor, ensuring our customers capture the immense value of our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leading detailed analysis of manufacturing processes, systems and data, uncovering opportunities to create business value using the Uptake technology platform
• Serving as an experienced subject-matter expert on the use of modern technology in manufacturing, and a thought-leader on the use of predictive analytics is said environment
• Collaborating with clients and colleagues to vision and design solutions and product strategies, and communicating them to customers and stakeholders
• Identifying the internal and external data sources needed for a technology solution
• Collaborating with our data science team to validate data, model development, and predictive results
• Working with product management teams, managing scope, communicating progress, and removing blockades to project success
• Helping the effort to build data interfaces with our customer’s systems
• Engaging with clients and partners and building excellent customer experiences and strong relationships

Qualifications

• Required
• Strong boots-on-the-ground experience and domain expertise within manufacturing
• Deep experience with data sources and technology in a typical manufacturing plant
• A collaborative mindset, and a record of building successful client relationships and internal relationships with colleagues
• Knowledge of status-quo software tools across the manufacturing value chain, including popular SCADA, HMI, and other MES solutions.
• Preferred
• Familiarity with concepts and technologies behind Big Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Predictive Maintenance, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
• BS/MS, with a preferred concentration in Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Math
