Job Description
Position Overview
As the Sr. Editor/Videographer you will be responsible for video content creation to support Invenergy’s energy project developments and advocacy for the organization and renewable energy initiatives. You will be responsible for creating content for multiple channels including social, YouTube, website, blog posts, as well as live events for a range of audience from the general public, to stakeholders and policymakers. As a Sr. Editor/Videographer, you will be telling the stories of the communities we work with as well as the positive impact Invenergy is making. We are looking for an experienced and innovative storyteller who wants to use their creative skills in a professional setting to help build a more sustainable world.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop video content that supports advocacy for Invenergy’s business initiatives including our development and operating portfolio.

Work with the Campaigns and Strategy team on development of multi-channel content for a variety of audiences.

Responsible for creative editorial and be able to independently edit video content (largely documentary and docu-style) to a high standard that will undergo a high level of internal review and face external opposition.

Achieve an average turnaround time for edits of 2-3 weeks (depending on project complexity)

Responsible for video production

Must be able to independently travel to perform and manage shoots on location. This includes directing, shooting and conducting interviews with community members, landowners, stakeholders, and other non-employees.

Must be willing to travel 30%.

Must be able to work with senior leadership and independently conduct video shoots and interviews with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Manage aspects of the company video inventory including cameras, camera support systems and other ancillary video equipment.

Work cross-functionally with the other teams that are part of Corporate Affairs and Brand such as Marketing, External Communication, Internal Communications, and Public Affairs to plan and execute video production and post-production.

Actively seek feedback on how video content is performing and be able to adjust accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
3-5+ years of experience in creative editorial and post-production
-
Highly proficient in editing software.
-
Extremely proficient in video production and post-production work-flows and asset management.

Documentary directing and production experience
-
Advanced interpersonal communication skills.

Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Videography, Cinematography, Media Studies, or relevant related field

After Effects and motion graphics is a plus
